Transformer causes outage and brush fire in Hamilton, Ohio

On Sunday, October 1, a transformer popped at the Hamilton Electric Production plant causing a power outage and brush fire near the Great Miami River in Ohio.

According to officials, the outage was a result of the power line, along the river, failing and causing the brush fire on the river bank.
