Chief Minister to inaugurate Suryapet, India substation

The Chief Minister of the Indian state of Telangana will inaugurate a new 400 kV substation located around Chivvemla of the district of Suryapet.

The launch of the U.S $245.5 million substation is in collaboration between several utility companies: Prabhakar Rao, TS Genco, Transco, SPDCL and NPDCL.

Their coordinated efforts allows for a 24-hour power supply to the region’s farm sector and a further four, 400 kV substations are currently under construction.
