Chinese company completes Belarus’ largest substation

Following three years of construction, the largest substation in Belarus is ready to convert electricity for the country’s first ever nuclear power plant.

The 330 kV substation, located in the northern state of Pastvy, was constructed by the Chinese state-owned North China Power Engineering Co. Ltd..

Belarus’ nuclear power plant is planned for completion by 2020.
