BHEL bags two 765 kV EPC substation orders

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been awarded a major order for the engineering, procurement and constrcution (EPL) of two 765 kV substation for the Power Grid Medinipur-Jeerat Transmission Limited in West Bengal.

The order, worth approximately U.S. $80.1 million, is BHEL’s largest substation project order to date and is expected to be completed within 30 months.

Work includes the construction of two large sized 765/400 kV substations with a3,000 MVA capacity in Medinipur and Jeerat.
