Serbian state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) has announced it will invest U.S. $2.4 million into the construction of a 110/35 kV power substation in Ub, western Serbia.

According to the company’s managing director, Milorad Grcic, current power supply in the Ub municipality does not fully meet demands.

The new substation, titled Ub 2, will guarantee power supply in the municipality for the next 20 years.
