Siemens CEO Joe Kaeser says that his company would be unable to accept new orders from Iran following U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to reimpose sanctions against the country.

According to an interview with CNN, Kaeser says that as he sees it, global companies are  no longer allowed to take new orders from Iran or else they could receive retaliation from the U.S.

Siemens’ business in Iran represents a very small portion of its total revenue, while Siemens makes 20 per cent of its global sales in the U.S..
