GE sends 14 transformers from China to Egypt substation

Chinese logistics company City Union Logistics recently completed an 18 month move of 14 transformers as well as 250 containers to the Egypt Helwan Power Station.

The company has transported transformers weighing 900 tons in nine freighter charters for General Electric from Changzhou, China, to Cairo in Egypt.

City Union Logistics chartered four Antonov AN-124 flights and five with a Boeing 747F to move the 2,000 cu m load.
