Larsen & Toubro wins substation orders in Algeria, Nepal and India
The Power Transmission & Distribution business of L&T Construction has won EPC orders worth 265 million USD.
The orders include to build a 60/10kV Gas Insulated Substation in Annaba city, Algeria. Another order from the Nepal Electricity Authority is for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 220kV Substations.
In India, an order has been secured for the construction of 220kV and 132kV Transmission Lines and Substations in Madhya Pradesh on a total turnkey basis under the Green Energy Corridor projects. Another major order has been won for the establishment of a 400/230kV Gas Insulated Substation in Tamil Nadu.
