Three children killed in transformer blast

Three children have been burned to death in a fire triggered by a transformer explosion in the Indian city of Greater Noida.
The blast occurred in the sector of phi-III of Greater Noida on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim’s family members alleged laxity on part of the electricity department as they made several complaints regarding malfunctioning of the transformer but no one responded.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Rinku (13), Golu (8) and Sagar (8), all natives of sector phi-III in Greater Noida.
