SeverElectro anounces $96 million transformer tender

Kyrgyz electricity distribution company JSC SeverElectro has announced a tender for $96 million for the purchase of transformers.
The company, a subsidiary of OAO Chakan Hydro Power Plant, plans to spend $96,440,000 in total on the procurement of power transformers.
The money will go solely towards the purchase of at least 238 transformers.
The most common purchase will be of either 630/10 kVA or 630/6 kVa transformers, although the majority of transformers will be of a smaller size. These include 54 400/10 kVA transformers, 48 250/10 kVA transformers, and 23 160/10 kVA transformers.
