French transformer manufacturer DBT has won a contract to make transformers for the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG).

The order entails the delivery of nearly 5000 transformers and includes 560 three-phase measurement blocks and 4,200 single-phase measurement transformers (CR range).

The goods must all be delivered by the end of the year.

The order, which DBT secured following a call for tenders, is worth over €1.3 million and is the largest contract in the history of the French company.

DBT is an industrial group specialized in the distribution of energy. Historically specialized in industrial transformers, DBT has extended its activities to charging electric vehicles.
