Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen acquires two transformer components manufacturers in Italy

German company Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH (MR) has announced it has increased its 70% stake in CEDASPE, based in Giuliano Milanese (near Milano), to 100% with effect from January 1, 2019. Moreover MR has acquired the company ETI Elettrindustria S.r.L. (ETI), based in Cormano, Italy (near Milano), retroactively with effect from January 1, 2019.

With these acquisitions, MR has increased its product portfolio in regards to components and accessories for distribution and power transformers. At the same time, the integration into MR’s network has improved the worldwide availability of the CEDASPE and ETI products and services. Both companies will be part of the MR business unit COMPONENTS, which comprises all prod-ucts, protective devices and components used at distribution transformers.

Gianfranco Giorgi will continue to manage and develop the company CEDASPE. Furthermore, he has been appointed as Managing Director of ETI. Gianmarco Ghioldi, former managing director of ETI, will continue to work with us until his retirement.
