The GRIDCON® PCS 4W from Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) has been honoured as the “Swiss Army Knife of Inverters” at this year’s ees Awards in Munich

The GRIDCON® PCS 4W was awarded this prize for its holistic approach to optimizing load flow and voltage, which sets this solution for energy storage systems apart from most competitor products. Andreas Lamert and Holger Kretzschmar from the Power Quality business unit accepted the coveted industry award. MR Managing Director Wilfried Breuer emphasized: “This award is a fine confirmation of our decision to also offer practical solutions in the field of integrating renewable energies”.

The award ceremony took place at the end of the first day of ees Europe, Europe’s largest energy-business platform. The prestigious award has already been presented six times to companies that distinguish themselves for their outstanding energy storage technologies. GRIDCON® PCS (Power Conversion System) is a versatile, modular inverter system for DC and AC supply in low voltage, which can be used, among other things, to implement energy storage systems.

The system supports a wide range of field-tested applications and can be configured and extended to meet customer-specific requirements. Various designs are available for use in networks and in industry (buildings, industrial production, containers, IP 20 to IP 54). This enables the construction of stable stand-alone networks for micro-grid applications and convenient emergency power and back-up power supply solutions.
