Tolyatti to make traction transformers for Novocherkassk Locomotive Plant
Tolyatti Transformer LLC and the Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant Production Company (NEVZ PC) have signed an agreement on the supply of ONDCE traction transformers.
The history of cooperation between the Togliatti Transformer and the Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Building Plant began a quarter of a century ago, when, by order of NEVZ, the Togliatti plant began the development of traction transformers for locomotives.
In 2019, a new history of cooperation between Togliatti Transformer LLC and the Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant Production Company began. According to multifactor criteria (assessment of the state of production, the possibility of operational development of production, terms of contracting, logistics, experience and documentary evidence) Togliatti Transformer LLC was determined by Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant as the optimal manufacturer.
The openness and readiness of the management of Togliatti Transformer LLC to quickly start production and start deliveries of the NEVZ PC became the most convincing argument for NEVZ choosing our plant as a domestic transformer manufacturer for its locomotives.
