Huapeng manufacturer 500kV transformer for wind power project
Jiangsu Huapeng Group Co. has celebrated the delivery of the first 1000MVA 500kV three-phase integrated main transformer in the domestic new energy industry.
The CGNPC Xing’an Meng Revolutionary Old Area 3 million kilowatts wind power poverty alleviation project was approved by the state in May 2019, and is the first big wind power base project in China.
The transformer delivered off the line is the first 1000MVA 500kV three-phase integrated main transformer in the domestic new energy industry, and the highest voltage and largest capacity transformer in CGNPC’s new energy construction project.
The successful delivery of the main transformer has set a new record for the first one in the domestic new energy industry and is another major leap in the localisation of China’s wind power equipment, which is a concrete response to accelerate the realisation of China’s “double carbon” target.
