New transformer at Bedelaarspad
The old transformer at the Bedelaarspad transformer station near Onna has been replaced.
The second transformer will be installed on 9 March and the transformer station will have two new 90 MVA transformers.
Tennet must upgrade the current lines between Meppel and Steenwijk by replacing the conductors with a type that can transport the higher capacity. This is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2023.
Due to the reinforcement of the lines between Meppel and Steenwijk, Enexis has had the opportunity to upgrade four transformers with associated switchgear at Steenwijker Kamp in the course of time.
The other extension work to the transformer station at the Kamp will be suspended until the Council of State has ruled on the proceedings on the merits initiated by the residents of Onna.
